I regularly make an appearance at The Rising Sun Pub as their food is honestly the most delicious top quality food I’ve ever eaten. I literally never go to any other Italian- wats the point?! This enchanting place is run by 2 brothers who know what top class service is, as well as high quality food. From their mouthwatering truffle pizzas, creamy pastas, to their top quality roasts, lamb shanks and first class lobster BBQs, I can honestly say that each meal I’ve had there has never lowered its standard. It really has set the bar when it comes to service, ambience and star quality food. I love the fact it’s a hidden gem so if YOU KNO, YOU KNO. It’s not any riffraff pub, it’s perfect for families, date night or a good catch up with friends. I was quite fearful of going anywhere in these corona times but I felt safe there as I noticed their health & safety procedures were spot on and I felt comfortable.

BEST PIZZA IN NORTH LONDON!!! My family and I really enjoying coming here throughout the year, but especially in summer , as the outdoor seating has a lovely atmosphere with good music playing. Serves authentic food with friendly and attentive staff who know the menu well. You aren’t short for choice of drinks either as they have an extensive wine list and cocktails too. Would recommend trying a pizza or go on a Sunday for a roast! Will be returning.

Highly accomplished modern italian cuisines served in a comfortable and friendly ambience. An impeccable and highly professional service with a smile made for a relaxed, safe and enjoyable social gathering. Pumpkin and ricotta ravioli, butter and sage which was cooked to a sultry, warm sweetness so soft and velvety and subtly submerged in creamy sage butter. Succulent sautéed king prawns, infused with garlic white wine and chilli packed with flavour, dancing around your palette. Exemplary ingredients cooked to perfection. Both dishes were earthy and classy at the same time. Superbly flavourful, outstanding and creative cooking. A glorious distraction from the passage of time.

The best takeaway food you can buy for the price: Excellent service, excellent food, quality and taste amazing for home delivery and a great menu. Delivered today - Chicken Milanese, Truffle Fries, Broccolli in chilli and garlic and Spaghetti arabiata - all sublime and hot on arrival. I take my at off. Support you local restaurant - you will not be disappointed. Absolutely superb pub/restaurant. Food is to die for, service is impeccable. Staff are friendly and attentive.

We've been eating at the Rising Sun for many years. The restaurant has many 'regulars' which tells you all you need to know. Matteo and Luca go above and beyond. The food is world class. Outstanding. We love it.

Simply amazing Sunday lunch! Beef and roast chicken plenty for a family of x4 with desserts too. A real treat delivered to the door with professionalism, genuine care and courtesy. Helpful, Caring, Wonderful. The best Pub! But NOT A VISIT - DELIVERY. My elderly parents had to self isolate because their carer tested postive for COVID. I was worried about them eating properly. The team at the Rising Sun have been absolutely and utterly brilliant. The Rising Sun is my local and the family all love going there - in normal times. With that being impossible, Mum and Dad have had great meals delivered to them to look forward to and a friendly face - albeit at a distance - when the delivery arrived. I simply cannot recommend this pub highly enough - quite aside from the incredible food. Instead of going to the pub - the pub came to them - and they genuinely cared and couldnt do enough to help. Magnificent!

A case in point being the excellent St Valentines meal prepared and delivered to be finished off at home on either the 13th or 14th February. It was beautifully presented there were even rose petals !!! The meal itself was wonderful a real treat I lost count of the number of times my husband said “ this is excellent “ and he was right. Thank you so much I’d been looking forward to it all week and it didn’t disappoint.

The Rising Sun Mill Hill - San Valentino Love Box Evening Dinner delivered in Lockdown was Amazing! As a surprise my romantic husband arranged a Valentines Evening meal for 2 from our local Italian Gastro Restaurant -The Rising Sun Mill Hill. A big red box arrived filled the the most amazing 4 course meal with instructions on cooking for the ultimate Valentine dinner. Lobster & beef Wellington for main & a heart shaped brownie & white chocolate cheesecake to share! Just gorgeous!! Oh and their very own romantic playlist on Spotify to set the mood! The only thing that was lacking was a babysitter!! 10/10 well thought out menu with little touches including the red rose petals on opening the box! We can’t wait to have a meal in the restaurant when Lockdown is finished!

Opening the door to one of the owners was like seeing an old friend. Rising Sun home delivery is a slick and impressive operation, delivered well packaged and piping hot. Fillet steak strips with chilli for me and sea bass for my wife - and just as good as in the restaurant, which is quite a feat considering that we live ten minutes’ drive from Mill Hill. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble to be warmed up, with ice cream still frozen. It really was a fabulous meal - we’ll be trying the Sunday roast next.

Boundless joy! Literally the food and family of love A boundless and tireless celebration of my birthday. Luca, is an absolute legend of a host! The most delectable food and service that is the epitome of love. Many thanks and big love to the Rising Sun family.

A faultless dinner! We went for a midweek dinner here after hearing great things and it certainly didn't disappoint.

Burrata, tuna tartare and miso cod were the stand out dishes of the night - beautifully presented and incredible flavours.

It is on the pricier side but I would say 100% worth it for the quality of food and service we received.

Can't wait to go back!

Heard lots of good things but surpassed expectations We had been recommended this pub a few times but never got round to trying. So was pleasantly surprised when a friend booked it for our Christmas get together.
Starters were traditional Italian and all we ordered was fab. Especially the pasta fritter and the burrata.
Main course I had the beef roast which was massive and delish. Everyone said the desserts were amazing especially the bread and butter pudding

Absolutely the best We are now a new regulars in this amazing restaurant. It’s not cheap by any means, but the food is very very nice, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The food is absolutely delicious, tuna tartare and steak and tuna steak are our favourite, margarita pizza is unbelievably yummy and our kids hammer it in no time. Exceptional Food Thank you for an exceptional evening. Not only was the ambience and service, perfect, but the food….Where do I start?! I took some friends there as had recommended The Rising Sun for a while, and they were blown away. I had explained it wasn’t a pub but a high end Italian restaurant. They didn’t quite believe me until after they had eaten. My crab pasta was the best have ever eaten (including in Italy and Michelin star restaurants) and everyone said the food was first class. Thank you for the most perfect summer evening.

Food was excellent and what really impressed me was that despite the young age of the staff they were so polite and well trained. I had one of the staff apologise for leaning over me. Normally I only get such apologies in top end restaurants. Good choice of veggie food and the pizzas are to die for. My first visit but would defo go again. I am disabled and luca (the manager I'm assuming) couldn't have gone more out of his way to ensure I had parking as close as possible to the entrance. Very easy pub to find as well. Relaxed atmosphere where we were not rushed at all.

We had a wonderful evening here with our very dear friends. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The decor is great. The eating spaces individually decorated with a great finish. The food was presented really well and tested superb. We would definitely return.

Dear amazing Rising sun team. I had the best bday ever, my day at the rising sun was the most perfect private party for 16 friends. The service and timing was faultless, your staff were incredible, the room you let my husband trash with balloons and goodness knows what behind my back The food was sensational, the whole afternoon was beyond anything I could have wished for. On point and on every level. Thank you for being so accommodating, with offering my guests multiple menu choices prior to the day, not restricting us to a set menu, having the flexibility to choose our preferred 3 course meal.
